Interview with LunaMistika Studio

We spoke with LunaMistika Studio, a small creative team based in Spain.
The artist’s name is Ann — and together with her partner Lucas, she runs this quiet studio of magic and meaning.

Ann creates the cards.
Lucas offers new angles, new ideas, new air.

They became partners in life through moments that felt almost destined.
Now they walk together — side by side — as LunaMistika Studio.

Drawn to the unseen

Since childhood, Ann felt drawn to “the unseen.”
That world — tarot, magic, esotericism — always held a quiet pull.
Beautiful, and a little frightening.

In 2016, her inner journey began.

At night, after work,
she would watch tarot and magic videos on YouTube.
A small ritual.
A small opening toward something she had always felt inside.

Her intuition — sharp since childhood —
told her to step forward.

When the wheel began to turn

Ann originally made small Lenormand decks only for herself —
unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for her own collection.

Later, during a move,
she found those cards again — still beautiful.
It felt as if time had paused around them.

Just as a test, she listed them on a second-hand website.

They sold that same day.

She felt as if the cards themselves
were asking to go on new journeys.

That moment became the beginning of her shop.

The encounter that changed direction

Through Facebook, she connected with people who shared her interests.
She wanted to help others through cards —
not as objects, but as companions.

In that space, she met Lucas.
He understood her passion and sensitivity.
Quietly at times, strongly at others — he supported her.

And one sentence from him shifted their direction in creation:

“I want people to touch tarot gently, without fear.”

It was a small line —
but a powerful one.

The beginning of creation

From there, Ann began to finish each card one by one, with care.

She wanted Lenormand cards not just to be tools —
but something gentle.
Something that could enrich someone’s life quietly.

So she focused on material, paper quality, thickness,
and the feeling in the hand.

Lucas sat beside her, offering improvements.

After many prototypes,
they arrived at their own method:

three sheets of paper layered into one.

This created ideal color, strength —
and a soft shimmer, as if holding light inside.

From that moment, their cards became more than divination tools.
They became partners that calm the heart.

Their philosophy

What does “LunaMistika” mean to them?

The name carries a wish:

to live with harmony and mystery.

Ann said:

“Tarot and Lenormand are mirrors of the heart.
Not for predicting the future,
but for quiet time to know oneself.”

For them, creation is like a prayer.

A wish for people to face the unseen —
not with fear, but with love.

That wish lives inside their work.

The light ahead

Today, LunaMistika Studio is preparing new projects —
and working on their social media presence.

New sizes.
New themes.
New collections.

Ann and Lucas told me:

“We are both a little shy (laugh)
but we hope to share light through our small world.”

Future updates from LunaMistika Studio
will be shared on this page.
