Too similar. The universe and the brain.

kurashitobi

The universe seems endlessly far away —
and yet, in a strange way,
it looks very much like our inner world.

A study published in 2020 suggested that
the large-scale structure of the cosmos —
the way galaxies connect in filaments —
shows patterns remarkably similar
to the network of neurons inside our brain.

Even though the universe and the brain
differ in scale by 27 orders of magnitude,
their “structure” carries surprising parallels.

As if the vast universe
and our small human brain
are quietly linked.

And if — there is a meaning in that similarity —

what we call “my brain”
may not be only a personal domain,
but a tiny part of the universe’s greater web,
gently resonating within it.

So perhaps
the small feelings and subtle shifts of awareness
you experience in everyday life

are softly joining
the web of the universe —
somewhere far beyond our sight.
